Itinerary:

  • Day 1: Arrival in Panama International Airport
    welcome by PanAmerican Travel staff. Transfer to a 4* Hotel
  • Day 2: City Tour an Panama Canal
    We will start the tour at 08:00 am by visiting the famous Panama Canal, the residential areas that once served as the military base guarding the canal. After this, we will proceed to the Amador Causeway and the Balboa Walk, currently a highly developed area, a tourist attraction and the location of the administrative building. We will continue to Casco Viejo, the San Felipe neighborhood and take the walk around the Independence Square, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Bolivar Square, the Saint Francis of Assisi and the National Theater. After this we will have a panoramic view of the city and the new seaside road that circles the old city. In the afternoon, the city will end with a visit to one of Panama's shopping mall or the handicraft market. IMPORTANT: The tour can vary depending on the schedule of ships through the canal, so we can witness the crossing process
  • Day 3: Day for optional tours
    Free day, to choose from any of the optional tours mentioned below: Transcontinental train to Colon - Embera Community - San Blas Day Tour
  • Day 4: Bocas del Toro
    After breakfast we will depart to the airport to take a 50 minute-flight to Bocas del Toro. Upon arrival we will check in and drop our luggage and wear our swim suits to enjoy the Caribbean waters. We will visit Los Delfines key and the mangroves. We will stop for a Caribbean lunch on a beautiful restaurant on tilts over the water. After lunch we will head for Red Frog beach, named like this due to the red frogn that populates the area. Free time to enjoy the beach and return to the Hotel
  • Day 5: Bocas del Toro Community
    Cacao Tour - We will take our bus at 09:00 am for our next tour in the area. Here we will visit a community named Oreb where we will be first hand witnesses of the cacao production process, harvest, dried, cooked and ground by hand. The walk through the cacao plantations is an unforgettable experience, not to be missed. After this tour we will enjoy lunch with a view on the nearby beaches to continue enjoying the Caribbean. Return to the Hotel in the afternoon
  • Day 6: Bocas - Boquete
    We will have our breakfast and leave our bus at 08:30 am. We will board the famous water taxis to leave Colon Island, arriving in Almirante where our transport will take us to Boquete, Chiriqui, by the sides of the Baru volcano, over 1000 mts above sea level, crossing the rainy park La Amistad. Check in and lunch. In the afternoon we will join a panoramic tour around Boquete to enjoy the picturesque sights of the place.Return to the Hotel
  • Day 7: Tour del Café y Rio Caldera
    This day we will take the best out of our Boquete stay. We will visit the coffee plantations and depending of the season, we will see the harvesting process. We will have a scheduled lunch and visit Rio Caldera and its thermal waters apart from enjoying the petroglyphs of the area
  • Day 8: Chiriqui - Panama
    This day we will have our morning free to enjoy and relax in the Hotel or in the charming town of Boquete. Departure from the Hotel towards Panama. Accommodation in a 4* Hotel in Panama City
  • Day 9: Bon voyage
    Breakfast in the Hotel. Departure for the airport at scheduled time or to continue travel to Costa Rica
