The tour begins by a visit to Panama la Vieja, a walk through what was the First Spanish City founded on the Pacific, and a visit to its museum. Then, continues along the modern sector of the city: Banking District, Punta Paitilla, and Balboa Avenue to the historic center. World Heritage tour of the Independence Square, Metropolitan Cathedral, French Square, The Vaults, and Bolivar Square. Optional lunch at a local restaurant. Then, the tour continues to the Miraflores Locks and its new visitor center, where we can appreciate the operation of the Canal. You will watch the ships moving through the locks and enjoy the high-tech audio-visual show that explains the Canal operation. Then, the tour continues by visiting the Albrook ex-military base, now a beautiful residential and commercial area. Visit the neighborhood home to the Balboa Administration Building, the Port, and what is today the most developed tourist area of the capital, Amador. Return to the Hotel.
